Who
We Are
The Heaven's
Saints Motorcycle Ministry provides a Christian brotherhood of
bikers to fellowship with and minister alongside. While the majority of
members are bikers, owning a motorcycle is not a requirement to be a
part of this ministry. Heaven's Saints members can be found all over the
U.S. and in some parts of Canada. Chapters are formed once there are
seven members in an area. Members of local chapters work together to
reach out to others in their community. Each chapter prayerfully
considers how they can best direct their efforts to provide help and
assistance to those in need. We have chapters involved in many areas of
ministry including prison ministry, youth outreach, youth detention
centers, homeless shelters, drug and alcohol rehab, churches, rallies,
biker events, etc.

John 15:16 NKJV
"You did not choose Me, but I chose
you and appointed you that you should go bear fruit, and that your
fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name He
may give to you."
Chapters work together by supporting each other and
helping one another with their various outreaches, and also by working
together on larger national rallies. The Heaven's Saints M/M established
the Church of the Heaven's Saints to further their ministry
capabilities. We are not a motorcycle club. It is not our desire to
control any specific state, city, or location. It is, however our desire
to assist those in need in whatever way we can. Our ultimate bylaws are
the Bible. We will do our best to guide others into a personal
relationship with God and His Son, Jesus. We believe that Jesus is the
answer to ANY problems you might be facing. We are always glad to pray
for and with others.

Today's Verse
Chaplain's Corner
In
1996, I was hired by one of Detroit’s Big Three automakers. For
thirteen years I worked for Chrysler and it was truly God’s way of
providing for my family. I can remember vividly entering the building
for the first time, after being hired as a full time employee. The Lord
spoke to me in that moment, and He said, “you will go and change the
culture around you or you will allow the culture to change you.” I
understood and said, “Yes Lord. Be my strength that I may not stray
from your truth.”
I understood this even
more six months after our group was hired. A new batch of hires
started, one of which was a young lady by the name of Rose. She was a
sweet young lady who was married and had a child. Like many of us just
wanting to make a living for our families. I noticed that she wasn’t
like some of the other hard core women. She had a sweet demeanor about
herself and there were no vulgarities when she spoke. It just wasn’t
her way. After a few weeks they had moved her to a new department and I
had not seen nor spoke with her for at least a year. When I did see
her, I had expected the same sweet young lady I had met just twelve
months earlier. After just a few minutes of catching up, the Lord had
reminded me of the word that He had spoken to be upon entering that
building. “You will either change the culture around you or will allow
the culture to change you.”
As we continued to
talk it was very obvious that her sweet demeanor was no longer sweet and
her language was no different than the men that came in there drunk and
waiting for the weekend. The subculture within that place had become
her. It had changed her. Sadly she had become a product of her
environment.
Culture refers
to the cumulative deposit of knowledge, experience, beliefs, values,
attitudes, meanings, hierarchies, religion, notions of time, roles,
spatial relations, concepts of the universe, and material objects
and possessions acquired by a group of people in the course of
generations through individual and group striving.
Culture is the
systems of knowledge shared by a relatively large group of people.
Culture is
communication, communication is culture.
Culture in its
broadest sense is cultivated behavior; that is the totality of a
person's learned, accumulated experience which is socially
transmitted, or more briefly, behavior through social learning.
A culture is a
way of life of a group of people--the behaviors, beliefs, values,
and symbols that they accept, generally without thinking about them,
and that are passed along by communication and imitation from one
generation to the next.
Understand that
cultures create mindsets. Cultural mindsets that can become sinful and
set you on a path that is superficial at first but then its roots begin
to penetrate so deep that before you know it, it has become you. There
is a specific reason why the Lord desires us to become consumed within
His word and relationship with Him:
PSALM 1
1 Blessed is the
man Who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, Nor stands in the
path of sinners, Nor sits in the seat of the scornful; 2 But his
delight is in the law of the Lord, And in His law he meditates day and
night. 3 He shall be like a tree Planted by the rivers of water, that
brings forth its fruit in its season, whose leaf also shall not wither;
and whatever he does shall prosper.
The Culture of the
Kingdom must be first priority. It is the culture of the Kingdom of God
that will change situations, circumstances, economic woes, you name it.
The more time you spend with Him the more you will be like Him. |
